Alternative proposal

1) Self evaluation

Every full member school has to fill out a self-evaluation form, focussed on identifying how free and
democratic member schools are. The evaluation information is available to all members to read and
comment on, and available to the public in an abbreviated form.

Reasons:

* Transparency
* This would work as a feedback mechanism for EUDEC which could be very helpful in making new
decisions on the next AGM.

2) Membership Workgroup

The Assembly establishes a Membership Workgroup, which will discuss and prepare proposals to Assembly about the membership system.

3) Membership Committee

AGM annually elects a Membership Committee with 3 to 5 members.

The Committee's work is to:

* Respond to all applications and inquiries concerning membership and give information about
EUDEC.
* Inform applicants about membership options and procedures.
* Inform the person responsible for membership fees about new members.
* Participate in the Membership Workgroup to collaborate on new proposals concerning membership.
